Goose bumps began to rise on Aviana's skin and she was beginning to shiver almost as bad as Toby. "I don't know I'm getting the feeling that this storm that's coming in is going to be bad and will last a while. Fleur should be safe in the trailer and we should be safe in the tent." When both boys said they had left their phones in the car she cussed under her breath not good they where in the middle of the National Park and a storm an obviously bad storm was starting up and they had no form of communication to the town or anyone else. "Let's just get in the tent I'll turn the heater on so we stay warm and I got extra batteries for it as well but hopefully we won't need them."
Aviana grabbed all her bag's and stuff that she had yet to put in the tent and tossed them in. "Only problem is we might not be able to use the portable stove for cooking it's not exactly safe to use it inside the tent but I got bread and lunch meat and juice and milk and cereal as well as some fruits and veggies that don't need cooking. But we'll need to go easy on them we don't know how long the storm will last and we might be stuck here longer than just the weekend."
With that Aviana got into the tent and held the tent flap open for the boys to follow her in. She was nervous she had never shared a tent with anyone before and she didn't really know these guys. If worst came to worst she could change into her natural form and escape into the lake if they turned out to be a threat.

Damien nodded in agreement. The weather was worsening at a frightening pace, and it seemed to only get worse. "Sounds good. Hopefully we're just being paranoid, and the weather won't get too bad."He said, though his voice didn't sound very hopeful. Her frowned when he heard that Toby didn't have a cellphone either, they were well and truly stick out here. This was a problem, they were too far out in the forest to count on getting any help.
As Aviana mentioned food Damien internally debated how to decline the food in a believable way. He didn't want to eat their precious food as he didn't need it, it wasn't like he gained any nourishment from it. It was no use worrying about it now, he would cross that bridge when it came to it. He still needed to to drink, so he wouldn't become dehydrated though. He cracked a smile at Toby's joke, though the idea was a good one. They could certainly need something warm now. "Yes, cocoa sounds like a great idea now, and we wouldn't want to take back the bribe." He joked, before shivering as another violent gust of wind ripped through him.
"I'm sure it'll be fine." He told her, and gave her a reassuring smile. As she went into the tent he followed Aviana in. The tent was warm in comparison to the windy outside, and best of all it was dry. Setting down his backpack, which he had been carrying, he sat down on the floor. Reaching into his backpack he pulled out the thermos, and offered it to the two.
Avina started to toss a few things into the tent, and Damien seemed to be putting his sketch book and pencils away while Toby seemed to gaze about the beach. The snow was falling hard, and the wind seemed to be picking up, and the shivering like a small dog seemed to be passed around to the other two even with their protective jackets, they were still feeling the bone chilling wind. Speaking up Avina spoke about how the storm would be lasting past the weekend, and he felt his stomach drop in a certain way. It was odd, as it wasn't one out of fear of the storm, but it felt like the words she had spoken were true. Perhaps it was the sixth sense that many animals had, and his shifter side was warning him or he might be freaking out. Pushing those feelings aside, he watched as Avina enter the tent first followed by Damien.
Letting out a soft sigh, he slowly followed in after the two just as Damien was offering his thermos of hot chocolate. Getting himself in the tent, and situated, he leaned over zipping said tent up to save Avina the hassle. "Especially with me... I will hold as a grudge forever." He responded with before reaching over to the offered chocolate and taking a sip before offering it to Avina.
“So…” Pausing for a moment, he tried to figure out where to lead the sentence after all, the three of them could be stuck in the tent for quite a while. After another few moments had passed he couldn’t figure out anything else to say and had left the ‘So’ to hang out there as he was sure the other two would figure out how to get the conversation flowing again. After all, social interactivity wasn’t a skill he had acquired during his life or so far in his life.
Aviana gave a nod of her head and a weak smile but something deep inside her told her they weren't being just paranoid that this storm was about to get a whole lot worse. Once everyone was inside she was about to zip the tent closed than an idea came to her. Digging through one of her packs she grabbed some rope. And leaving the tent she tied one end to one of the tent stakes than headed for the horse trailer unraveling the rope as she walked and tied the other end to the door handle before heading back inside. As soon as she was in she zipped it shut. "There this way if it does get worse I can find my way to Fleur to check on her."
When Damien offered her the hot coco she held up one finger to let him know to wait a minute than once more dug through one of her packs. A different one this time. This time she pulled out two Styrofoam coffee cups and handed one to Toby and kept the other. She than took the thermos and poured some of the hot liquid into her cup before passing it on to Toby.
Aviana stared at both of the boys and wondered if they where both humans or if they where supernatural like herself or worse hunters. She shivered at the thought of sharing a tent with a hunter and not knowing it. She had to know but how to find out? She couldn't just blurt out hey are you hunters, humans or supernatural's? If only it was that simple. "So Damion how long have you been interested in art?" Some supernaturals lived for hundreds of years maybe she could make them slip up. Looking at Toby she smiled there was no way he was a hunter or supernatural he had to be a human surely.
Damien watched Toby enter the tent, and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion when Aviana exited again with a rope. She soon entered again, and Damien was about to question her when she explained why she had gone out. "Clever." He complimented her, before continuing talking. "It will probably be much harder to see anything later." He remembered having been stuck in a snowstorm in the past, it had been almost impossible to see anything in the thick snowfall and raging wind.
Damien laughed at Toby's response and gave him the thermos. "I'll do my best not to incite your wrath then." He joked lightly and watched as Toby took a sip. "I'm the opposite I guess. A friend once told me that I forgive too easily." He mentioned absentmindedly, and gave a wistful smile. Apparently seen as a weakness to his friend, but Damien thought it was one of his better qualities. Holding grudges wasn't healthy, and would only harm the one holding the grudge in the first place. He laughed lightly as Aviana found two styrofoam cups and poured some hot chocolate into them. She was definitely more prepared for this kind of thing than he and Toby.
Aviana's question made Damien perk up, and he shot her a dazzling smile. He was always happy to talk about art, and the question dispelled the silence that had begun to settle in the tent. "Most of my life actually, started when I was ten. I even went to art school some years back, those were the best years of my life." He reminiscented, and smiled gently. "Art is such a beautiful way to express oneself."
Tobias watched as Aviana exited the tent with some rope, but he didn't question it after all, she probably had a plan on to why she was doing so. A few seconds later, she reappeared as she explained her plan on why she did so which received a comment from Damien who found the plan to be Clever which he also agreed. "Yeah, you never know." He spoke, with a light shrug after all, with no cell phone meant no connections to the outside world to figure out, what is even going on.
After that, Damien made a comment about not fueling the fire to his 'wrath' after all, he did have a mean grudge when it comes to someone crossing him... Or maybe he liked to believe so after all, he never had anyone betray as he had never given anyone a chance before to betray him... Shaking his thoughts, he listened as Damien admitted he forgave too easily by some friends standards. He would have said something, but Aviana soon popped in with a question about when he started to get into Art. Interesting question after all, the two had talked about his art past when they met up at the library. It an odd event which somehow caused the two to become somewhat good friends.
Turning his gaze, he soon searched his mind trying to figure out a question to pop up himself to keep the conversation a float after all, it wouldn't kill him. "So uh Aviana what made you become a nurse?" He proposed the question to her returning his gaze once more over to the two. It was a normal question to ask, but it would be interesting to see her reason why after all, most tv shows always did some dramatic past story about how the doctors whole family died which led to some sort of vengeance like Batman. For some reason, he felt her answer would be one that was simple or realistic in a sort of way.
Aviana smiled and nodded her head when Damien said her idea was clever. "Thanks I figured things tend to get worse before they get better and it seems to be getting worse out their by the minute so you can't ever be to careful am I right?" She took a sip from the hot cocoa in her styrofoam cup than set it down and dug through her back until she found some chips and set them in the middle for everyone to much on. They where salt and vinegar her favorite. She popped the bag open and grabbed a handful before nudging them with her foot towards the boys. "Help yourself's I have another bag in there. I tend to eat these things like crazy when I am trapped indoors."
She smiled when Damien told them a friend said he forgave to easily. "I'm the complete opposite I tend to hold a grudge for a while if it's bad enough. But give me a weak or so to cool down and I'll be good as long as you didn't do something like stabbing me in the back or killing someone,"[/b[ she laughed softly as the end.
When Damien began telling them he started getting into art when he was ten than going to art school some years back she nodded but than stopped and frowned. She looked at him hard he couldn't be older than twenty if that surely. So when could he have gone to art school? "When did you go to art school what was your major, painting, sketching photography?" She laughed realizing he might feel like she was bombarding him. "I'm sorry sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me."
Aviana was soon distracted though when Tobias asked her why she had become a nurse. An easy smile soon spread across her face and lit up her eyes. "That's an easy question I like helping people it's as simple as that."

The wind howling outside only seemed to punctuate Aviana's words as she spoke, and Damien was glad for the protection the tent offered them. He didn't fancy getting frostbite, even though he would probably heal it without problems afterwards, it wouldn't be pleasant at all. The smell of chips reached his nose, and he watched as Aviana took some before offering it to him and Toby. It was tempting, even though he would receive no nourishment form it, he still had functioning taste buds. He was kind of infamous with his fellow librarians for his 'unhealthy' eating habits. "Thanks, they're my favorite too." He told her with a smile as he gave into temptation, and took a small handful. He promised himself that he wouldn't eat any more of the food as he munched on the chips.
Damien nodded as Aviana spoke and gave a smirked playfully. "Then I'll be doing my best not to make the both of you angry. He commented to them. He really didn't see the use in holding grudges but didn't comment upon it.
Damien blinked, struck speechless at the questions fired rapidly at him. A startled laugh escaped him, and it soon evolved into a full out belly laugh. That had taken him completely by surprise. "I don't mind. It's always a joy to talk to someone who's actually interested in what you have to say." He said and winked at her after his laughter calmed down. "I majored in painting, that's always been were my interest lay. Though sketching is enjoyable too." He told her, ignoring the question about when he studied in an attempt to avoid it. Subtlety thy name is not Damien.
Damien listened to Toby's question, and found himself curious of Aviana's answer too. Her answer didn't surprise him though, he had already figured out Aviana was a kind person. She really seemed like the kind of person who would do anything to help others.
Avianna nudge a bag of chips towards Damien, and himself as she offered them some to which he had accepted after all, free food was the best thing in the world. Taking a small handful, he carefully tossed one in the air catching it in his mouth as he tended to eat almost all foods this way as it was sort of entertaining. Listening as the other two spoke, he found out that Avianna held a mean grudge as well which had Damien telling them he would make sure not to tick them off which earned a small smirk from Toby. Tossing another chip in the air, the conversation seemed to flow a bit more easier between Damien and Avianna. They talked about art school, and asked what he was majoring in after all, it was hard to believe that Damien was only twenty something. Of course, he knew a little secret about the other male which explained why he looked that way. Finished up the last few chips, he reached over grabbing the styrofoam cup he had been offered and took the hot chocolate container pouring himself some.
Like he some what expect, she had done it to help people unlike the television shows who should really start coming up with better reasons other, then having the doctor become like Batman. Taking a sip from his cup he soon spoke up once again after all, he had been quiet during most of the conversation. "Well at least your not acting like Batman..." A cheeky grin grew on his face at the mention after all, she might not get the inside joke he was having in his mind. Turning his gaze to Damien, he soon spoke up about a challenge.
"Also, we should do a drawing contest sometime. I mean my skills are amazing."
Welcome to the scenic town of Salem, Michigan where our story takes the stage. It’s the year 2016, a date not quite far for us to be unable to imagine. Whispers of rebellion are starting to shake the supernatural world, hunters are loading their pistols while the humans are nearly wetting themselves in fear. Each side has their finger on the trigger, itchy and waiting for the other to strike to set off this war. Which side will you choose or how will your story unfold? That, my friend, is left to the wiles of time unless you think you can play your cards right…. But only in the end will they truly be revealed.
