AutobiographyPersonality: One of the first impressions Feliks has become adept at showing is a false bravado everywhere he goes. He knows how to seem cocky, arrogant, obnoxious and outright rude. Give him a few moments in your first meeting with him and he’ll go off on a tangent on about how vampires are the superior race and how everything else is a pitiable lower race. He usually these attributes as a shield around him for two reasons. The first is rather obvious, he’s harder to forget if he’s rude and the second part is more, well, it prevents people from getting too close to him. Harder to get hurt if distant than if one is closer. Of course, he isn’t so stupid to go on these tirades in public places. Hunters lurk… and well, he would rather not get his head ripped off. He likes it where it is thank you very much.
Once people manage to get used his rather coarse demeanor, Feliks is relatively gentle. He feels as if though balance is something the world needs to achieve. Too much of one side can easily be tyrannical as the other with the only true difference being the title. An example of his beliefs include that of humans and vampires. A vampire is not so different from a human in the aspect they kill lesser species for nourishment, as a human might do to a herd of cattle or a peep of chickens. Do those cattle or chickens have a desire to be eaten? No, of course not, but unlike humans they are vocal. He also enjoys pondering situations to find out more about both sides of issues, of coming to an opinion, and of finding ways to attempt to help even the sides. It’s because of this issue he finds no true fault with hunters as he believes they even the score.
Finally, in terms of personal loyalty, Feliks is extremely devoted to the people he cares about. While he may have little difficulty switching between a neutral party, a faction, and then back to a neutral party, his individual relationships are one he can flourish in. He expects his friends to be loyal to them as he attempts to be with them and they’re rewarded well. After all, he has a tendency to ravish expensive gifts on them, though they usually don’t really seem to mind that much.
Family: No immediate family who still breathe
Medical Record: As a human, he had Haemophilia though it was never diagnosed at the time
Criminal Record: That he's actually been caught for? None.
History: Feliks Gajos was born into the nobility in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the start of the decay of the empire. His family was one of the few that managed to hold power and they lived like kings. Feliks was the second youngest of twelve children and they all lived like kings in the empire. Feliks though was always very sickly. He bruised easily and was chronically tired but showed a bright wit and spent most of his childhood reading. As he grew older, his older siblings would play games of chess with him for hours and hours on end. He became a recluse, rarely speaking and communicating by showing them phrases from the books he read. His siblings strove to protect him as much as they could, even by some of their adult years choosing to spend time with him over other nobles. He made relatively few friends over the course of his first 20 years that wasn’t part of his family, other than a Bolek, a doctor.
By the age of twenty-four, his mother decided it was time for him to leave the corridors of the mansion and get married. She wanted him to start a family, not stay inside his quarters. Slowly, he was integrated into the world though he was no catch as his mother imaged him to be. He was nearly always silent, had a stutter, and was the same height as most of the women. All of these factors made it very obvious that he wasn’t the finest catch for the woman of the time, at least to those of his social class.
Finally, after about three or four of these outings, tragedy struck. The horse that was pulling the carriage spooked and ran, causing the carriage to tip. Within the carriage was Feliks was Bolek. The driver with Feliks was killed instantly and Feliks well, he had a deep scratch and should have begun clotting himself within moments…. Only… it didn’t Blood started gushing out of the wound, covering him in blood and causing the young man to panic and cry out. Bolek though, by divine intervention, was no human but a vampire. Bolek bit the young man, changing him at the last possible moment, when it had become evident that nothing else would have saved the young man. As time progressed, what Feliks had would be later described as Hemophila and his lifespan during this time period a miracle… but that was not the case.
The world of the night was strange to Feliks. Bolek maneuvered it well where as Feliks lacked to understand the basic social graces of humans… these new creatures, the demons he had read about in his books terrified him but Bolek managed to show him a whole new world. After all, Feliks was no longer plagued with all the health problems he head. He wasn’t just healthy, he was better than healthy. He was strong and he felt like he could take on the world. Of course, he had some problems along the way as well. While blood was… tasty, he couldn’t bear to have himself covered in the substance. Too many memories of him bleeding out would cause him to panic… but he learned how to make the kills clean. With his new found confidence, he managed to adapt into this world easy with Bolek by his side.
The years passed by quickly. The once awkward man had turned into a social butterfly, being able to debate with the polish intellectuals at the time. He stayed in his mother country until the start of World War 2, where the dangers had very quickly become apparent. He fled to America with Bolek where they became partners. Eventually, around the 1970s, they had a falling out. Bolek had become preoccupied with the notion that vampires, who both he and Feliks assumed were the master race, need more power. Feliks believed that vampires, as the master race and as the master race they needed to help the lower races.
They split and Feliks joined the Followers not long after. He managed to win over a large amount of vampire support, appealing to their prideful natures for support. Most of the vampire support currently within the Followers can be traced back to Feliks help, which is why he is one of the head ambassadors today.
His lover though, was met through a rather interesting occurrence. It started with Feliks attempting to recruit the bastard… to him trying to kill him and then Feliks eventually getting him to join the followers. After a large amount of bickering and needing to work together, they finally realized they had feelings for each other and got together. They were a couple for four years before Feliks job grew more… difficult and he started getting sent everywhere. He hasn’t seen his lover in a decade since he was promoted but by coming to Salem where the core of the Followers now is, he hopes to reunite with him soon.
