The essence of morality is a questioning about morality; and the decisive move of life is to use ceaselessly all light to look for the origin of the opposition between good and evil.
He had gotten to town a night early and in most cases the man would have preferred to go straight back to the arms of his lover. Tonight shouldn't have been any different... other than the fact that he had yet to see his partner in about a decade. It wasn't that he had not wanted to see his partner... but he was still on call that night and the vampire had no desire to enter an intimate setting only to have a call for one situation or another. So he found himself in this club, a song blasting from a few years prior as he downed shots. The fire down his throat felt good, though the alcohol hadn't had an affect on him for about two-hundred years, it still managed to instill some confidence within him.
Of course, the parade of woman who had dragged him into the back corner, baring open their chests and necks to him helped. He always felt less... anxious when he had a full stomach. Of course, since that point no one had tried to invade his personal space... and perhaps he was looking to get a little more personal than usual that night. Dates had blurred for him by this point of separation, the fact that they were to reunite tomorrow hadn't quite happened to occur to the vampire either... but that was for a later time.
He raised his shot glass one more time before looking lustily at the crowd, a smile on his face as he watched from his seat and debating about joining in the crowd.

Be careful making wish
in the dark
Music blared as the albino entered the scene of the club, with a smile perked on her lips as her eyes scanned the dance floor which was filled with creatures who went bump in the night or so she assumed. Appearance alone caught some attention after all, it was a rare sight to see such a gem among the coal. Gracefully walking off towards the side, she soon found her prey which seemed to be a male about late twenties who was hanging out in the background. The friendly smile was replaced with a taunting smirk as he seemed to be a worthy challenge for her to conquer. Taking a stand next to the man, she leaned over and gently touched his arm before leaning in to whisper in his ear. A blush rose to his face, and she continued on with her light flirts asking how some such as himself could stand being around women who couldn't match his charm.
The challenge she had thought that would take up most of her night ended up in a disappointment when the male finally given into her charms. Giving out a fake number, and a small blow kiss, she elegantly walked off as her eyes began to search for better prey. Sadly, nothing seemed to catch her attention other, then the fact that the dance floor was becoming quite full and the only chance of getting what she wanted might have to be taken to the dance floor. Of course, she wouldn’t dare go out onto the floor without having a stop at the bar for a drink or more likely a free drink.
Approaching the bar, another male seemed to catch her attention who sat at the bar and surprisingly he wasn’t being drooled upon by the ‘classy’ ladies that roamed the club looking for a bit of fun. Spotting a seat open next to the male, she soon made her move approaching the bright red stool as carefully sat down. Once moving a few strands of her hair, her gaze slowly looked towards the side of her as a flirtatious smile was offered to the gentlemen.
“What brings a man like yourself to such a club…” Lucia’s voice seemed to purr out the half-finished compliment as she seemed to check the male out before speaking up once more, but being a bit bolder. “I was about worried that I would be stuck with one of them.” She finished her statement as she let her gaze traveled back to the sidelines of where she had met the lanky male from before.

The vampire faked a look of surprise when the woman appeared next to him, even if she wasn't exactly who he was expecting. He was thinking it was going to be one of the woman from a little bit earlier, perhaps returning to attempt to coerce him into an intimate act that he had already started he wasn't interested in. It had a tendency when he went to clubs like this on his off time, though he never went with it. Feeding was one thing, especially on drunken girls whose hands had a tendency to wander but he would never let himself willingly give his body to another in that way. After all, that was a carnal urge he would control even if his diet wasn't something he could.
The girl who had crawled up next to him was quite pretty though, he couldn't deny that... so this wouldn't be terribly unpleasent. It was rather obvious to him though she wasn't human, only able to recognize it as the fact tainted the smell of the blood through her veins. A mix of foul animal taint and power, so perhaps a shifter? He wasn't sure of the specifics... but he wasn't all that surprised there. Of course, she had asked him a question and it would be rude to ignore it.
"Avoiding an old colleague you see." He said with a smirk, eyeing the man who was leering hungrily at the woman. Human, who obviously had no idea what he was dealing with... though he decided it would be safer to not comment on that. "Your friend over there being too much?" he purred back, noticing another shot had been placed in front of him and knocking it back. "Or is he just a dreadful bore?" He added with a chuckle.

Surprise seemed to spring on the male’s face, or more towards one that was faked, but she still kept her sweet smile that seemed to work like a charm on most men. Yet, she had a feeling it would take more, then a few compliments and smiles to have this man wrapped around her finger. He was going to be a challenge or so she had hoped after all, there was no fun in playing a game if your opponent wasn’t willing to play.
A comment of avoiding an old colleague was given as for why his presence was located in such a club after all, she would admit that the male was quite the looker compared to the other barbarians who roamed the club groping anything they could get their filthy paws on. Of course, some would tell her if she had such a problem to leave, but they didn’t understand the value of information that seemed to flow through this particular club. It was like a library, all she had to do was find the right book and get it to spill its content with a few drinks or broken promises of a good night. Which made her question if she found a good book or not with this man…
“Indeed he was… A single compliment and he was ready to squeal like a pig.” Distaste was laced in her words as her eyes soon shined with disgust towards the man, but she made sure the man didn’t see it after all, a true lady rather stab one in the back, then to do it up front. “Taken I haven’t since you're gorgeous face around, I’m assuming your just staying for business?” The comment was straightforward after all, she had never been the shy type when it came to getting what she wanted, but her motives could be mistaken for something more than her true intentions.

Her comment on the man who was... still managing to appraise her made him smirk a little bit. "By the way he is staring at you, one would believe you were a steak." He snorted, shaking his head. For a few, it was a decent strategy that only worked when the one being chased's veins were alight with fire and arousal... and even then chances were still meager. In the last decade, as he had seen smaller clans of vampires flock to these types of clubs, perhaps he would be slightly scandalized but he understood the appeal of these places of younger vampires. "Perhaps, if he continues to stare at you like that, we should turn him into a pork chop." He then quipped, shaking his head back and forth as another glass of alcohol was placed in front of him. He nudged it gently towards her.
The question about where he was from made him curious. "Actually, returning from business. Although, I'll admit that I never lived within Salem for very long." He said, shrugging slightly. "But, due to the nature of my work, I wouldn't be surprised if I would be able to stay longer than a month unless something explodes." He added, chuckling. "What about you though? Here for buisness? Or do you have some sort of twisted pleasure as being looked at as if though you are a steak?"

Shifting her gaze eerily, a frown settled upon her face as she met eye contact with the man she had spoken to a little while before. She didn't appreciate being looked at like a piece of meat, but she allowed her gaze to soften as she returned her focus on the male in front of her. After all, the saying that Karma was a little piece of work applied to this situation as she had only saw the male as an information giver and nothing more... Just like he was seeing her in a whole different light, perhaps one of actual food? Whatever the reason may be, she would take care of it later if he had plans on acting upon his own thoughts. Instead a snigger came from her mouth at the mention of turning him into a pork chop.
"Perhaps." She hummed lightly back, before a drink was pushed her way which she had accepted after all, there was a reason why she never came with money. Pulling the glass to her lips, she took a small sip as he anwsered his question about being in town. He was in for business which made her curious of what sort of business... Salem wasn't a small town, but it wasn't a large city either and curosity had shined in her eyes after all, she wasn't a cat so she had nothing to fear. "Interesting as for me well the same reason... Business has brought me here, and I believe I'll be staying for quite awhile." She admitted without a second thought after all, Salem seemed to be a prime spot for what business she wanted to attend too.
Welcome to the scenic town of Salem, Michigan where our story takes the stage. It’s the year 2016, a date not quite far for us to be unable to imagine. Whispers of rebellion are starting to shake the supernatural world, hunters are loading their pistols while the humans are nearly wetting themselves in fear. Each side has their finger on the trigger, itchy and waiting for the other to strike to set off this war. Which side will you choose or how will your story unfold? That, my friend, is left to the wiles of time unless you think you can play your cards right…. But only in the end will they truly be revealed.
