Dislikes: werewolves (she fell foul of one a couple of years ago and hasn't trusted them since), slow drivers, boring rom coms, bad smells, cats (they hate her), boring days, being alone, getting lost. Strengths: she's very sneaky/sly/crafty, compassionate, resourceful Weakness: reckless, stubborn, grudge holder.

Autobiography
Personality: Violet has an answer for everything, she’s never really been able to keep her mouth shut and with a sassy come back for almost everything she’s never had much of a filter. Reckless and never really one to think a plan through she’s often been chastised for her hasty and sometimes irresponsible behaviour. Though that’s not to suggest her heads in the clouds, while to many she appears flighty and unfocused she’s actually very intelligent hates it when people underestimate her, or doubt her integrity. Focused when she’s finally set her mind on something she’s incredibly resourceful and will do whatever it takes to achieve her goal, even if it means taking a sneaky route, from her perspective the object usually outweighs the means and sometimes she unfortunately tends to get carried away. She adores proving people wrong, since most tend to hold a negative opinion of her Violet takes great pleasure in proving her worth or her intelligence, usually quite smugly. A real grudge holder Violet doesn’t forgive easily and it takes a lot for the young Kitsune to change her opinion of people, she has a few trust issues and has incredibly high expectations for people, disappoint her and she’ll usually cut you out of her life. She’s incredibly stubborn and once she’s set her mind to a task it’s hard for her to let it go, with a one track mind she has a bad habit of forgetting other incredibly important things in favour of what she’s focused upon. All that aside she's incredibly compassionate and cares deeply for those in her life, protective and careful she's quite guarded but wouldn't dare let others help her with her problems. She hates the idea of burdening others.
Family: Olivia Heatherton - mother - kitsune - 100 (appears 45) Medical Record: ADHD diagonosed when she was four. History: Olivia Heatherton was never a powerful Kitsune; she had only one tail and was the family disappointment. Her mother refused to return her calls and all of her sisters turned their backs on the poor Kitsune. Olivia was truly down on her luck, to make things better she’d visit seedy bars and seedy men until one day she fell pregnant. She didn’t want to give the baby up as she felt it was a sign, an omen that foretold a better life. A new beginning so to speak.
The baby was born, a beautiful girl who Olivia named Violet, and so their journey together began. Violet was a curious child, who grow up in the apartment above her mother’s vintage record shop, a lower class upbringing was hard on both mother and daughter. Violet was often teased in the playground for her old clothes and her weird taste in music, while her mother could barely keep the business afloat. Curious and clever Violets teachers were impressed by the girl’s intelligence yet baffled by her need to fight with every child who teased her.
Finally when she was old enough her mother explained her heritage and what she could do, shifting into her Kitsune fox form hurt and she hated the idea of being different. However the idea of tails excited her and she couldn’t wait to see just how powerful she could one day become. As she grew older the more mischievous she became playing tricks became almost second nature especially since she hardly ever got caught.
A teenager now and rather awkward Violet found high school hard, she had a few friends which made the experience better but with the combined troubles of ADHD and teenage hormones Violet found it hard to fit in and there were many nights she’d cry to her mother about embarrassing incidents or her worries for the future. During her seventeenth year, walking home late from school Violet took a foreign path and ended up in a heap of trouble. It was the full moon and she’d carelessly lost track of the dates, so when the sharp mangy claws attempted to maul her to pieces you can imagine Violet was taken completely by surprise.
She managed to escape, but the night has forever given her a fear of werewolves. Strangely enough it was also the night she received her first tail, it was a strange feeling like an injection of power but it felt wonderful. In her last year of high school news arrived that her grandmother (a woman she’d never met before) had died and a large sum of money had been left in her name. Violets mother was completely ignored in the will, which left the young Kitsune with a strange feeling of guilt from accepting it, after all she didn't know the old woman and the old woman had never even attempted to contact her. It was all very confusing. Deciding to put it to good use she gave half to her mother and used the rest to study abroad in England.
Returning four years later with a BA (hons) in bio chemistry, Violet decided to take a year off studying before she attempts a masters degree. She wants one last year of silliness and fun before she commits herself to a life time of experiments – so now at twenty two years old she’s ready for what Salem has to offer. Of course she's ignorant to the war and the battle ground Salem is about to become.
